On
the 31st. of December, 1999, the administration of the
Panama Canal, one of the world's engineering wonders at
the service of shipping and trade, will be taken over
by the Republic of Panama. This is a challenge that we
are ready to face with responsability and a long awaited
celebration that we are eager to share with our friends
of the Americas.
It is in this spirit that we invite our colleagues to
come to Panama for the XXVI Convention of the Pan American
Union of Engineering Associations, to be held on August
21-25, 2000. |
