Useful Information

Local Ground Transportation: COPA Airlines, designated as Official Carrier for the Conference, will grant a 20% discount and on air tickets to Panama from Miami, Mexico City, Guatemala City, San Salvador, Managua, San Pedro Sula, San Jose, Santo Domingo, San Juan, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Medellín, Bogota, Cali, Quito, Guayaquil, Lima, Santiago and Buenos Aires. To take advantage of this discount you need only identify yourself as a participant.

Local Ground Transportation: Courtesy shuttle bus transportation will be available between the hotels and Convention Center and Caesar Park Hotel to attend the Opening and Conference sessions, as well as to and from all scheduled social events in the evenings.

Simultaneous Translation: Will be available at all sessions in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Climate and Dress Suggestions: Because of Panama´s tropical climate, light summer clothing is suggested. Occasional rains may be expected in October. Coat and tie is required for the opening reception and conference sessions. Informal attire can be worn to other events and closing dinner.

Optional Tourism: For those interested in taking advantage of the trip and having a restful vacation, there are attractive pre or post convention, one or two nights tour packages to island, beach or mountain resorts or same day ecotourism excursion and tours you can choose from.

Visa requirements: Depending on citizenship, a valid passport and tourist card or visa are required. Please check with your travel agent or the nearest Panamanian Consulate.
